Full Licence
The last step in becoming a 100% independent driver
The Full Licence test is a half hour practical assessment, including the pre-drive vehicle check and post-drive feedback. As part of your test your assessor will take you through busy parts of your town/city and you will be required to demonstrate your ability to drive safely in a wide range of situations.
During your test you will be asked to verbally identify the hazards you encounter (cyclists, children etc.) without prompting from your assessor, with what you identified being compared to what was seen by your assessor.
School students are eligible for 2 NCEA level 2 credits if they pass their Full Licence test.

Your test will automatically fail if you:
- Drive over the speed limit
- Disobey give-way signs or stop signs
- Disobey the give way rules or traffic signals
- Cause a crash
- Drive dangerously
We can provide great on going one-on-one practical sessions to prepare you for your Full Licence test, or even a one off session for the experienced driver looking for feedback before sitting their test.
Either way you can rest assured we will make sure you go into your test with the highest chance of success.
Our practical lessons start from $60 per hour-long session. Feel free to contact us to book a session or for more info!
